Following the cumbersome Kawachi the tier 4 Japanese battleship Myogi when compared to the Kawachi is a huge upgrade in many areas. The Myogi is more mobile and patches the issue of the Kawachi’s poor firing range. What you are left with is the first “true” battleship that is capable of keeping its distance from enemies and also being able to hit enemies with its long firing range. The cost of this ability comes with almost non-existent anti-aircraft capabilities, a very large profile for torpedoes to hit, and a very long reload time between shots. Learning how to play the Myogi correctly by keeping a safe distance from enemies and dodging incoming battleship/torpedo salvos will set you up for future Japanese battleships.
